​I hope you enjoy the paintings shown here.

My name is Jon Webster, I am a self taught artist who works mainly in watercolours. I paint a variety of subjects – landscapes from around Cheshire where I live as well as scenes from my travels around the world. I enjoy painting in a variety of styles –experimenting to see where the medium takes me. I am a member of Macclesfield Art Group.

A new section is the beginners guide.  This will guide you through materials, techniques, composition and design. The first pages are now ready and I hope to expand this section over the coming weeks and months. For those wishing to see the stages in creating a watercolour painting there are step-by-step demonstrations.
